I'm back
Wow, I am in shock!! I looked at the date on my last post and it was from 2008! Where has the time gone? Well I am very happy to share I am back to making my addicted to yarn ooak crochet hooks. I have been away from it for awhile and I have had customers ask me "when are you going to list more hooks?" So I got real busy over my summer vacation and made some hooks... actually not just me, I taught my 18 year old nieces (twins) and my 15 year old daughter how to make hooks and the four of us made some gorgeous hooks. I am so excited to share them with you all. I have been slowly getting them listed in my etsy shop. I have 20 listed so far and I have at least that many more to list. I also have a group of them at my local yarn store, they of course are selling them for more than what I have them listed in my shop for. I love all the color combinations and creativity the girls had when they were making the hooks. Check out the one titled "Just Ducky" so cute in my opinion http://www.etsy.com/listing/78073722/just-ducky-ooak-addicted-to-yarn-crochet We had a ton of fun working on them together. As soon as some sell I am going to have to get the girls back over here to help me make some more. I hope you love them as much as I do!

I love your crochet hooks! I might have to try one sometime, as they look to be easy on the arthritis. I love Susan Bates hooks the best. Welcome back to blogging. Thanks for commenting on my blog.
ReplyDeleteI just bought a bunch of Susan Bates Hooks as soon as I make them a ooak Addicted to Yarn hook I will let you know. I have heard they are great for people with arthritis (I can't speak from experience since I don't have arthritis). I wasn't a big fan of the Susan Bates hooks until just the other day I tried one again and really liked the feel and the way the yarn stays on the hook. Seems to be a lot less slipping.
